What my sister for her wedding thick wire (wire coat hanger was age) and wrapped with tape. Then the flowers and leaves, so that they associated with long ribbons hanging them back. She looked very good.

I do it with craft wire and wrap the flower, the green ribbon of the type I and wrap inside the flowers, if the size of what I discovered, and a circle to fit on the head.
